Eric C. Schwettmann is a partner with the firm and practices exclusively in the area of labor and employment law on behalf of management. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Society from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1993 and his law degree from Southwestern University in 1996.
Mr. Schwettmann has substantial experience handling a wide range of employment-related issues, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination and workplace violence. He also has advised clients on matters relating to labor disputes, particularly those involving picketing and demonstrations. Mr. Schwettmanns current practice also includes counseling employers on employment relations issues such as reductions in force, WARN Act compliance, and other day-to-day hiring, discipline, and termination-related matters.
Mr. Schwettmann was named as a Southern California Super Lawyers Rising Star by publishers of Los Angles Magazine in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. He is a Board Member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and a member of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, Beverly Hills, American and Los Angeles County Bar Associations (Labor and Employment Section, Entertainment Law Section).
