Eric C. Schwettmann
is a partner with the firm and practices exclusively in the area
of labor and employment law on behalf of management. He received
his Bachelors of Arts degree in Law and Society from the University
of California at Santa Barbara in 1993 and his Juris Doctrate from
Southwestern University in 1996.
Mr. Schwettmann
has substantial experience handling a wide range of employment-related
issues including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and
workplace violence. Mr. Schwettmann's current practice includes not only
litigation, but also counseling employers on employment relations issues
such as hiring, disciplining, and terminating employees.
Prior to joining
the firm, Mr. Schwettmann served as a research attorney for the Los Angeles
Superior Court, where he analyzed thousands of law and motion matters
per year in order to provide his employer bench officers with tentative
rulings. Mr. Schwettmann is a member of the California, Los Angeles County,
and Beverly Hills Bar Association Labor and Employment and Litigation
Sections, and is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts
in California.
