
Ms. Hurevitz is a Senior Counsel with Ballard, Rosenberg Golper &
Savitt. She has been a member of the California bar since 1986. Her
undergraduate education was at the American College in Paris, France;
and George Washington University (B.A., 1971); She attended law school
at Golden Gate University School of Law and Thomas Jefferson College
of Law (J.D., 1985).
Ms. Hurevitz is an associate with the American
Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) having tried to verdict more than
30 jury trials. She has served as a Crash Settlement Conference Officer
and an Arbitrator/Mediator for both the Los Angeles Superior Court
and privately. Ms. Hurevitz has also served as a member of the faculty
for the Jack Daniels ABOTA Trial School and the ABOTA Masters in Trial
program. She holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell. She is also
a frequent speaker at seminars and continuing education programs relating
to harassment and discrimination in the workplace, medical issues,
juvenile court health services, and civil rights issues. Ms. Hurevitz
has also argued a number of cases before the California Court of Appeal.
Ms. Hurevitz was named Attorney of the Year by the Los Angeles County
Sheriff's Department in 2005.
The practice of law is a second career for Ms. Hurevitz.
Her first career was as a performer and recording artist. She has
also worked as a Personal Manager for a number of artists in the
entertainment industry and has negotiated contracts for theatre,
concerts, recording, film, television, and commercials.
Ms. Hurevitz also serves as President of the North
Hollywood High School Zoo Magnet Parent Council.
