Philip L. Reznik is an associate with the firm. He represents and advises employers
on a wide range of matters including defense against claims of sexual
harassment, wrongful termination, wage-and-hour violations , and breach
of contract. In particular, he has defended against claims based on "golden
parachute" provisions in executive employment contracts. Mr. Reznik has
conducted wage-and-hour compliance audits and assisted employers in conducting
self-audits. He has represented employers in mediation and arbitration
proceedings, as well as investigations and audits by government agencies.
Prior to practicing
law, Mr. Reznik worked for over ten years in the film and television industry,
primarily as a documentary filmmaker. He graduated from the University
of Southern California, cum laude, and received his law degree from Loyola
Law School in Los Angeles in 1999. His law school career included two
years on the Dean's List, an American Jurisprudence Award in Evidence,
and service on the editorial board of Loyola's Entertainment Law Journal.
Mr. Reznik is a member of the Employment and Labor Law Section of the
Los Angeles County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before
the United States District Court for the Central District of California,
and all California state courts.
