Amendment To FEHA
Subjecting Employers To Liability For Acts Of Nonemployees Merely Clarified
Existing Law. Employees In The Health Care Industry On An Alternative Workweek Schedule Are Not Entitled To Overtime On All Hours Worked Beyond Their Scheduled Workweek. FEHA Does Not Require Employees Who File Complaints With The DFEH Requesting Civil Action Rather Than Investigation To Serve Their Employer With A Copy of the Defunct Complaint.
